A Chinese man travels to the Wild West to rescue a kidnapped princess. After teaming up with a train robber, the unlikely duo takes on a Chinese traitor and his corrupt boss. A 19th century Western. Chon Wang is a clumsy Imperial Guard to the Emperor of China. When Princess Pei Pei is kidnapped from the Forbidden City, Wang feels personally responsible and insists on joining the guards sent to rescue the Princess, who has been whisked away to the United States. In Nevada and hot on the trail of the kidnappers, Wang is separated from the group and soon finds himself an unlikely partner with Roy O'Bannon, a small time robber with delusions of grandeur. Together, the two forge onto one misadventure after another. Hey, hadda throw in an Owen Wilson quote from Armageddon, only fair…boys he basically played the same role here didn't he, save he was in it more. I thought he was a hoot, right there with Gene Wilder in Blazing Saddles and Zonker from Doonesbury. If they ever do a Scooby Doo movie, this guy is Shaggy, too!!

Chan was great. I loved the spruce fight with the Crow there, and the axe bit. And the stuff in the church was terrific too. A fun, exciting, satire laced film, one that I wish they would make more of.

Go see this, you will enjoy yerself alot!!

*** outta ****, really quite funny. This is a good movie! If you like Jackie Chan, it's a must see. Yeah sure, it was a bit stereotypical in some areas (like say, the plot), but who cares? one good thing about stereotypes is seeing how people try to unstereotype them (did that make ANY sense???). Owen Wilson was absolutely HILARIOUS as the not-too-smart-yet-very-likeable side-kick. I loved the 3-way culture clash (Asian, American, Native-American). Gave way to some interesting fight scenes. And I do believe that most teens (or at least the ones I know) will laugh along with Jackie during the Peace Pipe (read: Water Bong) scene. A couple of nice surprises in the movie (such as the last scene). My favorite, though, had to be when we found out that one of the other Guards was none other than the great Rongguang Yu of Iron Monkey fame (He's the one who fights Jackie). If you liked that fight scene rent Iron Monkey.

Anyway great action, great laughs, great movie. 8 out of 10. Jackie Chan's best American picture to date, breathes fresh life into the virtually dormant comedy-western.
The movie is good in the sense of the story. 24 hour car rental near me There are a lot of scenes to laugh. The movie is a mix of comedy as well as suspense. You can enjoy watching the entire movie. It is a great chance for you to see this movie.
